  1. I’m waiting for the inevitable Chinese consumer credit card debt crisis. China might repeat the Korean experience but at 100x more bad debt.

    • I think you’ll be waiting a long time, the average Chinese person had never even seen a credit card up until recently, and most still don’t have access to one.

      In addition most expats working in the country use “bonded” credit card services from local banks which mean that they don’t have any borrowing behind them either.
